The new WeekendU site was built using WordPress as the CMS. This was my first time really using WordPress' advanced features and I found it to be very gratifying. The template structure allows the content managers to freely build pages and add new classes as they see fit. I created all the WordPress templates from scratch and setup page and category hierarchies so that the correct content and navigation could be presented on their respective pages.

The only WordPress plugin that is being used is the Custom Field Template plugin, which allows me to show the content manager the custom fields that need to be filled out for certain page/post classes.

The site was designed by Andrew Firstenberger.

The top banner was set up so the content manger could easily add photos / remove them.
The transitions and image cycling were all built with the MooTools JavaScript Framework.
